Here are dogs that we have in our program that aren’t ready for adoption yet for a variety of reasons. You can still apply and inquire about these dogs prior to them being offically ready for adoption.
Penelope
Penelope was at a local shelter where she suffered from a fractured leg and broken hip. She is starting her process to recovery with a surgey to fix her broken leg.

Callie
Callie was stray at a local shelter where she suffered from a prolapsed vagina. She’s since had surgery and now she is starting heartworm treatment! She can be fostered to adopt during her treatment.
Snoopy
Snoopy was an owner surrender to the shelter. Luckily we grabbed him within the first few days of his stay so he didn’t stay long. He is decompressing/adjusting in his foster home and will post ready for adoption soon!
